Black Eyed Susans
Flowers seem intended for the solace of ordinary humanity.
A fitting tribute to the lowly (some say) black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia goldstrum here) if you ask me. They can keep me company any day. How can you fail to be cheered by their happy presence?
