Garden Reverie

Agecroft Hall in the Rain

I got to spend a nice chunk of this cool and rainy day in the lovely gardens at Agecroft Hall here in Richmond.  The house, originally in England, was dismantled, shipped over, and rebuilt here in the 1920s by the Williams family.  It is one of our fair city’s treasures with expansive views towards the James River.  The gardens strive to be (mostly) typical of the house’s original period.
